- Abstract Diabetes melitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder can cause complications such as peripheral neuropathy. Foot exercise for diabetic patient can increase sensory sensitivity such as gymnastic foot and marble therapy. This study aims to determine the influence of foot gymnastic and marble therapy to sensory neuropathy for diabteic patient. This research is a quasy exsperiment design with one group pre and post test. Sample of this research are 16 patients type 2 diabetes melitus. Analysis using the dependent t test. The result showed the average number of points on left foot neuropathy decline from 5.38 to 2.50 after a given intervention, while on the right foot decline from 4.81 to 2.38. There was a significant relationship between effect of gymnastics legs and marbles therapy with a decrease in average number of points neuropathy ( p value of 0.000).This study is expected to be used as an alternative therapy for reducing the insidance of diabetic neuropathy in General Hospital dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara of Serang and as guidance in creating standard operational procedure.
