  • Purposes - The purposes of this research were to examine the direct effect of motivation and job satisfaction on work performance; direct effect of motivation on job satisfaction; the indirect effect of motivation on work performance, which mediated by job satisfaction; and the effect of motivation on work performance, which moderated by compensation. Methods - The research paradigm was used quantitative method. The data’s collected by questionnaire with Likert Scale. Meanwhile, there was a hundred samples used in this study. The path analysis and moderated regression analysis were used to analyze the data’s. Findings - This research had resulted in several findings, among others: The direct effect of motivation and job satisfaction on work performance were significant; direct effect of motivation on job satisfaction was significant; the effect of motivation on work performance was not mediated by job satisfaction; and the effect of motivation on work performance was moderated by compensation.
