- This was a study based on Guilford’s model of the”structure of intellect”. In this model factors of intellect were categorized along three dimensions. The categories within a dimension were called aspects of intellect. The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between performances on pure factor test of intellect and school grades, and to infer from the results whether different aspect of intellect play significantly different roles in academic performance. The subjects participating in the study were 308 students from general senior high school in two places in central Java, Indonesia.
