- Media literacy is a required solution in this media-saturated era. The existence of media literacy bring the transformation of controlling mass media from government to citizen. Citizen journalism is one way to develop media literacy. One of media literacy competence is the ability to evaluate and produce new information based on information received from the mass media. Based on this, people need the media as a place to reflect their thinking. This research try to give solution by developing citizen journalism based blog group, expected can overcome the issues regarding to the implementation of media literacy.
