- Film Tanah Surga... Katanya merupakan salah satu film yang mengetengahkan persoalan nilai-nilai nasionalisme oleh bangsa Indonesia yang berjuang di daerah perbatasan antara Indonesia dan Malaysia. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam film Tanah Surga... Katanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam film Tanah Surga... Katanya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah gambar dan dialog yang diasumsikan dengan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam film Tanah Surga... Katanya. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa dari beberapa scene yang ada di dalam film Tanah Surga... Katanya memunculkan konstruksi nilai-nilai nasionalisme. Nilai-nilai nasionalisme tersebut antara lain: nilai rela berkorban, nilai persatuan, nilai kerja sama, nilai harga menghargai dan nilai bangga sebagai bangsa Indonesia. Dengan berusaha menunjukkan dalam setiap scene nilai-nilai nasionalisme bahwa tanah air Indonesia tidak seindah dan semakmur bayangan masyarakatnya selama ini. English The movie of “TANAH SURGA... KATANYA” is one of the movie that explores the issue of the values of nationalism by the Indonesian people who fought in the border area between Indonesia and Malaysia. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the values of nationalism in the movie of “TANAH SURGA... KATANYA”. The purpose of this study was to determine the values of nationalism in the movie of “TANAH SURGA... KATANYA”. The method used in this research is the analysis of the semiotics of Roland Barthes. The unit of analysis in this study is assumed to images and dialogue with the values of nationalism in the movie of “TANAH SURGA... KATANYA”. That the results obtained from some of the scene is in the movie of “TANAH SURGA... KATANYA” construction raises the values of nationalism. Values of nationalism, among others: the value of self-sacrifice, the value of unity, the value of teamwork, the value of respect and value priced proud as Indonesian. By trying to show in every scene the values of Indonesian nationalism that the home country is not as abundant as beautiful and its people think during this now.
