- This study aimed to find out students’ perception and the impact of dormitory’s language program. Moreover, the study aimed at utilizing this investigation for a better dormitory’s language program. Data collection was based on two phases. The first phase of the study, the researcher administered a questionnaire to 42 English department students in UIN Ar-Raniry. In the second phase , the researcher conducted semi- structured interview with 5 students was chosen randomly to know their perception and the impact of dormitory’s language program. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The findings of the current study indicated that dormitory’s language program is really helpful for students to improve their English skill. Futhermore, it was found that the things that needed more attention in dormitory are dormitory’s regulation, time of staying in dormitory and dormitory’s teachers.
