- Coaching character is the formation of character / nature of the child where the child is nurtured and educated to become fully human character is based on Islamic law, It is expected that children early fostered with commendable morals until later adulthood become the pious. One of the problems that occurred in the village Sukaramai District of Baiturrahman Banda Aceh is: in general the elderly are less serious in the development of the child, so the association of children in the environment where he is uncontrollably, causing a tendency of children to spend time with various activities that are not good and less useful, Usage narcotics also often involve them, and evolving technologies serve as a venue for gambling, not only limited to the virtual world, in the real world even teens are not afraid to do openly. The formulation of the problem: How moral development of children in families in the village Sukaramai District of Banda Aceh Baiturrahman , Obstacles in the moral development of children in families in the village Sukaramai District of Banda Aceh Baiturrahman is due to lack of time due to busy working parents with the lack of communication between parents and the formal and non formal education. This research is a descriptive research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Samples numbered 38 families who have children aged 15-19 years. These results indicate that the implementation of coaching morals of children in families in the village Sukaramai District of Baiturrahman Banda Aceh is not good due to limited time parents for working so fostering morals of children are not optimal and uncontrolled accompanied by a lack of communication between parents and the formal and non-formal causing each activity so not terkontorl child and the child to be free to do anything outside the home lead to coaching the parents become damaged. On the other hand the lack of understanding of parents against the coaching methods morals of children, so the moral guidance of parents in shaping the character of children are not in accordance with sharia and science. These results indicate that the moral guidance has been given by the parents, but due to lack of supervision outside the home resulted in the child so uncontrolled and parents do not know the behavior of children outside the home
