- Reflective teaching is a process of teachers’ reflection on their teaching practice. The teachers evaluate the process of teaching including the method, material, and others important thing in teaching in order to create a better teaching practice. This research aimed to explore teachers’ perception on practicing reflective teaching. It was conducted by using qualitative approach. The respondents of this research were English teachers in Senior High School of Banda Aceh. The results showed that most teachers perceived that reflective teaching is good to be practiced; it gives many impacts to the teachers’ improvement in their teaching process. The most frequent type of reflective teaching practiced was students’ feedback. However, the teachers also found the barriers in practicing reflective teaching, there are time limitation, lack of students’ supports, and also teachers’ unawareness. It is suggested that all teachers to practice reflective teaching in order to have a better teaching learning process.
