  • The research was conducted with the objectives to: (1) To know the influence of competence on the performance of employees at the Office of the Implementing Unit of Port of Class III Sinjai of Sinjai Regency. (2) To know the influence of motivation on the performance of employees at the Office of the Port Unit Organizer of Class III Sinjai of Sinjai Regency. (3) To know the effect of work discipline on the performance of employees at the Office of the Port Unit Organizer of Class III Sinjai of Sinjai Regency. (4) To know the variable of competence, motivation and work discipline together have an effect on signifikan to the performance of officer at Unit Unit of Port of Class III Sinjai of Sinjai Regency. This research includes survey research with quantitative approach. The population of this study is all employees in the Office Unit Pelangi Pelabuhan Class III Sinjai Sinjai District, amounting to 38 people. Data were collected with questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a significant positive effect on employee performance (Tcount = 4,231, Sig = 0,000 <0,05), Sig = 0.000 <0,05. (2) partially there is significant positive effect of employee motivation on employee performance (Tcount = 5,278, Sig = 0,000 <0,05. (3) partially there is significant positive influence of employee discipline to employee performance (Tcount = 2,442, Sig = 0,020 <0,05. (4) simultantly there is significant positive influence of competence, employee motivation and employee discipline on employee performance (Fcount = 15.260, Sig = 0,000) Adjust R Square (R2) value is 0.536, it means the ability of independent variables to explain the variation of 53.6%, while the rest of 46.4% (100-53, 6%) is explained by other factors outside the regression model being analyzed.
