  • ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan membuktikan secara empiris: (1) Apakahkarakteristik individu berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai; (2) Apakah komitmen individuberpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai; dan (3) Apakah kompetensi berpengaruh terhadapkinerja pegawai; Secara teoritis hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya danmelengkapi ilmu pengetahuan di bidang manajemen sumber daya manusia sehingga dapatbermanfaat bagi para akademisi dan praktisi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatoryresearch, populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 54 pegawai. Penentuan sampelmenggunakan teknik total sampling, penelitian ini dianalisis melalui Analisis Regresi Lineardengan bantuan software SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Karakteristikindividu berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, instansi sangat memperhatikankarakteristik individu pegawai yang dimiliki saat ini, karena manajemen berkeinginanmenaikkan hasil penilaian kinerja yang karakteristiknya sesuai dengan ketentuan kinerjaPNS; (2) Komitmen individu berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, indikatorkomitmen yang berupa affective commitment, continuance commitment dan normativecommitment memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai di instansiini; (3) Kompetensi berpengaruh positif, kompetensi pegawai dibutuhkan dalam rangkamenyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan pimpinan, dengan modal kompetensi yang dimilikipegawai mampu menyelesaikan tugasnya dengan baik.Kata Kunci : Karakteristik individu, Komitmen individu, Kompetensi dan KinerjaPegawai.   ABSTRACTThis study aims to test and prove empirically: (1) are the individual characteristicinfluence on employee ferformance; (2) are the individual commitment influence onemployee feformance and (3) are the competence influence on employee ferformance.Theoretically, this research is expected to enrich and complement the knowledge in the fieldof human resource management so as to be useful to academics and practitioners. The type ofresearch is explanatory research, population and sample in the study were 54 employees. Thesamples using total sampling technique, were analyzed by linear regression analysis withsoftware SPSS 23. The results showed that: (1) The individual characteristics of a positiveeffect on employee performance, agencies are very concerned individual characteristics ofemployees who owned at this time, because management intends to raise the assessment ofperformance characteristics in accordance with the performance of civil servants; (2) Thecommitment of individual positive influence on employee performance, indicators suchcommitment affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment tocontribute positively to improving the performance of employees in these establishments; (3)Competence positive influence, employee competence required in order to complete theassigned task managers, with a capital of competences of the employees were able tocomplete the task well.Keywords : Individual Characteristic, Individual Commitment, Competence andEmployee Ferformance
