The development of language has a variation that can be called language variation. Any part language variation usually happen is the used of special terms as jargon from certain community. Such as jargon which is used in Marketing major at vocational high school (SMKN 1) Banjarmasin. Based on the background above the researcher focus on two problems; 1) What jargons are used by students from marketing major at vocational high school (SMKN 1) Banjarmasin, 2) What are the meaning of jargons used by students from marketing major at vocational high school (SMKN 1) Banjarmasin, This study focused on jargon meaning based on form of jargon. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative. To collect the data, the researcher attends the students’ class when teaching and learning process. The researcher also does the interview with some students and teacher in the class. It takes 45 days for gathering the data. After the data collected, the researcher analyzes the data based on form of jargon. In this study, the researcher found sixty one (61) marketing jargon. The researcher found it has seven (7) form of jargon example; coinage, compounding, blending, acronym, abbreviation, word and the final is phrase. The result in form of jargon is one (1) coinage, four (4) compounding, three (3) blending, two (2) acronyms, five (5) abbreviations, eleven (11) words and thirty six (36) phrases. It is suggested for the next researchers to have research using another occupation from another communities that discuss same study about jargon used in community that have a special word as the language variation that exist in Indonesia.
