- This article talked about Kasyful Anwar’s contribution to sharh hadith studies in South Borneo, especially in the book of al-Tabyi>n al-Rawi> Syarah Arba‘i>n Nawawi>, a sharh hadith book first had written by Banjar scholars. This book had written by Malay language is very influential for historical development of sharh hadith Banjar. Many Banjar scholars after him follow his characteristic of writing sharh hadith, sharh Hadith Arb’ain. In terms of metodology, this book is written accord with the contents in the book of Arba‘i>n Nawawi> with ijmali< method, short expanation. In explaining the meaning of the text hadith, Kasyful Anwar used content analysis method with al-Qur’an and prophet hadith
