- Keywords: Ability, Extrovert and Introvert, Speaking The problem of this research are formulated as follows: 1) how is the speaking ability of extrovert and introvert students of English Department of Tarbiyah & Teachers Training Faculty of IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin academic year 2014/2015, and 2) is there any difference between Extrovert and Introvert students on Speaking II at English Department of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training Faculty of iain antasari Banjarmasin Academic Year 2014/2015. Based on the formulation above, the purpose of this research to know how the students ability in extrovert and introvert on speaking and to know the difference between extrovert and introvert students on speaking. The population the population of the research is all of the students at English Department of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training Faculty of IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin academic year 2014/2015 on fourth semester as the population. The number of them are consist 167 from all of the Students at English department, but the writer takes 25% from each class. The total number of the samples are 62 students. To collect the data, the writer use some technique such as observation, interview, questionaire, documentary. Data processing in this research is divided into four phases: editing, coding, scoring and data interpretation. Then, all the data are analyzed by using quantitative approach. The result of this research shows that students speaking ability of extrovert and introvert students of English Department of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training Faculty of IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin academic year 2014/2015 the mean score of extrovert students is 82.5 and the mean score of introvert students is 84.2. There is no difference between extrovert and introvert students in speaking ability base on the -count (-27.9605) < t-table 5% (0.254) < t-table 1% (0.330). T-table is higher than t-count Ho (Zero Hypothesis) is accepted and Ha (alternative Hypothesis) is rejected. The writer concluded , there is no difference between students who are extrovert and introvert on speaking II of English Department of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training Faculty.
