This research describes The Mastery of English Parts of Speech on Listening Skill of The Eleventh grade students of IPS Program at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin Academic Year 2009/2010. The problem formulation of this research are: 1.How is the students mastery of English parts of speech on listening skill at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin academic year 2009/2010, 2.What kinds of English parts of speech do the students get difficulties on listening skill of the eleventh grade of IPS Program at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin academic year 2009/2010. The subject of this research is 78 students of The Eleventh grade students of IPS Program at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin Academic Year 2009/2010. While the object of the research is the mastery of the eleventh grade students of IPS program to distinguish parts of speech on listening skill at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin. . To collect the data, the writer uses some techniques such as observation, written test, interview, and documentary. All of the collected data are processed through editing, classification, tabulating and interpretation. The data are analyzed by descriptive quantitative way and concluded inductively. The result of this research indicates that The Mastery of English Parts of Speech on Listening Skill of The Eleventh grade students of IPS Program at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin Academic Year 2009/2010 and Kinds of parts of speech do the students get difficulties on listening skill of the eleventh grade of IPS Program at MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin academic year 2009/2010 is in low category (54, 56). Based on the test result, the writer got the data that students get difficulties on listening skill, especially adverb, conjunction, preposition and interjection.
