Keywords: Collocation, Types of collocation This research analyzed of English collocation in the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The problems that should be answered in this research were: what are the types of English collocation in the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Lightning Thief? And are the types of English collocation, which most frequently found in the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Lightning Thief? Based on the statement of the problem above, this research was supposed to know the types of English collocation in the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Lightning Thief and to know the types of English collocation, which most frequently found in the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Lightning Thief. The subject of this research is the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: Lightning Thief, while the object of the research is the English collocation in the novel Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. This research has the following procedures in collecting data: the writer read the novel and made a listed of the data of English collocation by those types, classifies English collocations are found in this novel. Data processing in this research were divided into five stages: they are collecting, identifying, confirming, classifying all of those the data and analyzing the data. The result of this research denoted that there were 7 types of English collocation in the novel. Totals in collocation that were found in seven types were 559 collocations in a novel. The most frequent in the types of English collocation that found in the novel is form the adjective + noun = 280 collocations. While adverb + adjective = 60 collocations, noun + noun = 107 collocations, noun+ verb = 21 collocations, verb + noun = 56 collocations, verb + expression with preposition = 8 collocations and verb + adverb = 27 collocations, which existed in the novel.
