The problem formulations of this research are: 1). How is the level of readability of new English Textbook (Your English Partner Book A) at PPB IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin? 2). Is the new English Textbook (Your English Partner Book A) readable for students at PPB IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin?. The object of this research is about 230 samples or 13 % from total population (1380 students who have taken course of Your English Partner Book A). The aim of this research is to know the level of readability of new English Textbook (Your English Partner Book A) at PPB IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin. To collect the data, the writer uses some techniques such as observation, test, questionnaire, interview and documentary and web counting. Data processing in this research is divided into four phases: checking, scoring, classifying, and interpreting. Then, all the data are analyzed descriptively. The result of this research shows that for the first question, through Flesch Reading Ease Formula, the readability score for the whole texts of the English textbook entitled Your English Partner Book A published by PPB is 63.58 (Standard category) and through Cloze Test, the readability score is 45.14% (Instructional Level). And for the second question, based on the Flesch Reading Ease Scale, the score shows that the texts are Standard. The textbook is readable for students in 7th grade in USA or Junior High School. However, if we look the result of cloze test, the book is readable for college students as a whole book.
