This research aimed to find out of teacher-students interaction using FIACS analysis used during English lesson of the ninth grade in academic year 2017/2018 at MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. The statements of the problems of this research are: (1) what is the most dominant category of teacher-students interaction used during English lesson of the ninth grade in academic year 2017/2018 at MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin? (2) what is the most dominant sub-category of teacher-students interaction used during English lesson of the ninth grade in academic year 2017/2018 at MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin? The subjects of this research are 20 students and 1 English teacher of MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. The object of this research is teacherstudent classroom interaction in the ninth grade of MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin. The method of this research is qualitative research. In collecting the data the researcher used observation, recording and note-taking. In analyzing, classifying and calculating the data, the researcher used FIACS (Flanders’ Interaction Analysis Category System). From the data, the researcher found that the most dominant category of teacher-students interaction used during English lesson of the ninth grade in academic year 2017/2018 at MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin is teacher’s talk and the most dominant sub-category of teacher-students interaction used during English lesson of the ninth grade in academic year 2017/2018 at MTs 1 Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin is students’ response.
