- Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Peran pekerja sosial dalam menangani anak korban kekerasan seksual. Pembahasan artikel ini diperoleh melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber bacaan seperti jurnal dan buku yang digunakan untuk menjabarkan teori yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan anak, mengeksplor dampak kekerasan seksual pada korban, dan menggambarkan peran pekerja sosial dalam menangani masalah kekerasan seksual pada anak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peran dominan dari pekerja sosial dalam menangani masalah anak korban kekerasan, yaitu sebagai pemungkin (enabler). Peranan tersebut dimaksud untuk membantu iklien mengakses sistem sumber, mengidentifikasi masalah, dan meningkatkan kakapasitas diri untuk mengatasi masalah. Dengan adanya peranan pekerja sosial maka anak korban kekerasan seksual dapat kembali berfungsi secara sosial. Dikarenakan pentingnya peran pekerja sosial terhadap penanganan masalah kekerasan seksual terhadap anak maka harus adanya upaya dalam meningkatkan peran pekerja sosial. This article aims to describe the role of social workers in dealing with children victims of sexual violence. The discussion of this article was obtained through literature studies from various reading sources such as journals and books used to describe theories relating to child development, explore the impact of sexual violence on victims, and describe the role of social workers in dealing with problems of sexual violence in children. The results of the analysis show that the dominant role of social workers in dealing with children victims of sexual violence is as an enabler. The role is intended to help clients access the source system, identify problems, and improve their capacity to overcome problems. With the role of social workers, children who are victims of sexual violence can return to social functioning. Due to the importance of the role of social workers in handling the problem of sexual violence against children, efforts must be made to increase the role of social workers.
