  • The limited quail eggs production capacity that owned by CV Mafaza, affect the fulfillment of CV Mafaza’s market demand. Currently, the farm has 2800 quails with 67,200 grains produced while the farm’s demands in November is 172,800 grains. CV Mafaza plans to increase the quail egg production capacity by adding 4.200 quails to fulfill the market demand and take advantage of the land that owned by the farms. In order to realizing the plan, there are two alternatives quail cages that can be chosen by CV Mafaza, which is wooden quail cages dan iron quail cages. The two alternatives have different visual, price, and economic age so this research need to be done to know which qual cage are the best that can be chosen by CV Mafaza Tangerang. This research aims to determine the feasibility of increasing quail egg production capacity based on quantitative and qualitative aspect of each quail cage and to determine the best alternative quail cage that can be used by CV Mafaza quail farms. Analysis on quantitative aspects is conducted using the Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period (PP), Profitability Index (PI), dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Meanwhile, the qualitative aspect conducted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The parallel combined methods are using to Combining the quantitative and qualitative aspects. The result obtained from the research stated that both quail cages alternative are eligible to be selected. Based on the quantitative aspects, both alternatives quail cages get a Net Present Value (NPV) result that is greater than 0, a Payback Period (PP) result that is smaller than the investment period, a Profitability Index (PI) result that is greater than 1, and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) result that greater than the determined rate of return. While the analysis conducted on qualitative aspects obtained a result of 0.22142 for iron cages and the results obtained in wooden cages amounted to 0.18703. The best alternative quail cages that can be chosen by CV Mafaza is iron cages, because the result of Net Present Value (NPV) method that is Rp 379.031.697 is greater than the wooden cages, the Profitability Index (PI) result is 6,69 and it is greater than the wooden cages, and Internal Rate of Return method with the result amount 123,54 % also greater than the wooden cages. Iron cages also received a greater result in the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method compared to the wooden cage with the final result obtained by 0,22142. Meanwhile, the wooden cages only better in Payback Period (PP) method than iron cages with the result obtained by 9,76 months.
