- "This paper describes a comparison of the performance of a 4-stroke injection motor with a 6-stroke MUB-2 motor and a 4-stroke carburetor motor with a 6-stroke MUB-2 motor. The increase in burning time aims to re-burn combustible types that have not been completely burned in the first combustion. This study uses a 4-stroke motorcycle with a capacity of 125 cc and then it is modified into a 6-stroke motorcycle with twice the duration of combustion. Local atmospheric conditions were observed at a relative humidity of about 76% rH, and an ambient temperature and pressure of about 24 °C and 101.32kPa, respectively. Implementation of data collection with crankshaft rotation at intervals of 600 rpm from 2400 rpm to 7200 rpm, with a braking load of 5-10 kg. The 6-stroke MUB-2 motor exhibits 8% effective power, 7.8% torque, 1.4% combustion efficiency, 4.3% duty cycle, 2% thermal efficiency and 7% greater fuel efficiency than conventional 4-stroke engines. The fuel consumption of the 6-stroke MUB-2 engine is 43.5% lower than that of the conventional 4-stroke engine, the combustible level of the 6-stroke MUB-2 engine is also less than that of the carbureted 4-stroke engine. This means that the performance of the MUB-2 6-stroke motorcycle is higher than that of the 4-stroke carburetor motorcycle. When compared to a 4 stroke injection engine, the fuel consumption and actual efficiency of a 6 stroke engine is superior to that of a 4 stroke injection engine.
