- Poverty is one of social and economic problems that continuously faced by many countries in the world, including Indonesia. A quite serious problem of poverty faced by one of provinces in Indonesia, which is West Nusa Tenggara Province that nationally placed in eighth of poorest area from 34 provinces in 2017. This research aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, education, and human development index (HDI) towards poverty level (case study in the city/regency of West Nusa Tenggara Province 2011-2017) by using panel data analysis method of Eviews9. The analysis result shows that economic growth negatively affected to the poverty level. It means that poverty will decrease when the economic growth increase. However, the economic growth also represents insignificant relationship pattern to the poverty level caused by economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province still heavily dominated by agriculture and mining sector as well as the decrease of production from PT. Newmont that highly contributed to the economic growth. Education positively and significantly affected to the poverty level. When the number of illiterate is increase then poverty level also increase caused by the average of study period and low school participation number. While, Human Development Index negatively and significantly affected to the poverty level. When human development index (hdi) is increase then poverty level will decrease.
