Pengaruh Pakan Dengan Level Serat Kasar Berbeda Terhadap Konsumsi, Kecernaan Dan Rasio Asam Asetat/Propionat Pada Sapi Peranakan Ongole

- This Study Aimed To Evaluate The Effect Of Feeding With Different Crude Fiber On Consumption, Digestibility And Acetic/Propionic Acid Ration In Ongole Crossbred Cattle. The Material Used In The Study Were 15 Ongole Crossbred Young Bulls Aged 20-26 Months, Body Weight 250-332 Kg With An Average Of 287.33 ± 21.96 Kg. Given Feed Consisting Of Elephant Grass (Pennisetum Purpureum) And Concentrate With A Ratio Of About 15:85. The Method Used A Randomized Block Design (Rbd) With 3 Treatments And 5 Groups As Replication. Feed Treatment Can Be Divided Into Three Kinds With Different Crude Fiber Content Of 12%, 17% And 22% By Dm. The Variables Measured In This Study Include Consumption, Digestibility And Ratio Of Acetate/Propionate Acid. Data Were Analyzed By Analysis Of Variance, If There Is A Difference Between The Effect Of Treatment Or Group Will Be Followed By Duncans Multiple Range Test. The Results Showed That The Treatment Effect Was Highly Significant (P <0.01) On Consumption And Digestibility Dm, Om, Cp And Cf. The Average Consumption P1 Treatment Respectively 7.01, 6.26, 0.46 And 1.13 Kg/Head/Day, P2 Treatment Are 9.24, 7.79, 0.79 And 1.69 Kg/Head/Day And Treatment P3 Are 8.34, 6.88, 0.68 And 2.11 Kg/Head/Day. Mean Digestibility Sequential P1 Treatment Are 67.41, 68.60, 45.47 And 29.21%, P2 Treatment Are 64.69, 66.64 And 30.25%, And P3 Treatment Is 56.59, 59.40, 60.53 And 31.34%. While The Average Vfa Production And The C2/C3 Ratio In Rumen Fluid, Didn’t Significantly Effect (P>0.05) To The Treatment Given. The Conclusion Of This Study Is The Feeding With 17% Crude Fiber Level On Ongole Crossbred Cattle Can Give The Best Effect. It Can Be Known In Good Consumption And Digestibility As Well As Vfa Production And The Ratio C2/C3.
