Research was conducted at”Hadi Putra” Ngijo village Karangploso district Malang regency. The purpose of study to determine profitability of fattening beef cattle farming. Respondent was “ Hadi Putra” beef cattle enterprise that owned 131 head, 162 head and 184 head on the year 2012, 2013 and 2014. Primary and secondary data were obtained from 1st December 2014 to 1st January 2015. Descriptive analysis applied economic equation, including production cost, reveue, profit Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Turn Assets Turnover (TAT), Return On Investment (ROI), and Return On Equity (ROE). Results showed that this farming indicated a feasible feedlot enterprise based on the NPM of 14.87%; 15.56%; 18.86%; ROI of 15.28%; 16.50%; 21.24%, however it was infeasible beef cattle farming in regard to GPM of 16.53 %; 17.29%; 20.95 %, TAT of 1.02 %; 1.06%; 1.12%; ROE of 13.46%; 17.43%; 25.14% on the year of 2012, 2013, and 2014, respectively.
