  • This study aims to improve resilience in children after disaster occurs, using story telling. The method used was quasy experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The treatment was the puppet show, while there silience of children was measured using a scale of resilience which is developed by researcher. The numbers of subjects are 30 students of SDN Baturejo, Ngantang, by the age 10 to 12 years old. From the test results of the t-test, showed that the scores significantly difference in resilience after a given treatment, which is higher posttest scores than pretest scores. The conclusion is the story telling method can increase the resilience of children who experience disaster.
