- This research aims to explain the relationship between job boredom and job involvement of employees at Department of Social, Labor and Transmigration in Tulungagung. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. Data were analized by Pearson Product Moment‟s Correlation analysis. Sample in this research used total sampling, consisted of 54 persons (21 males and 33 females). The analysis showed that boredom (X) has correlation with job involvement (Y), correlation coefficients (r) = -0.725 and significance level (p) = 0.000, that showed a significant negative linear relationship between job boredom and job involvement. 54,56% showed an effective contribution of job boredom on job involvement of the employees. While 47,44% were affected by other factors. As and addition, the analysis shows there is no significant effect of working hours, educational background and gender.
