- Education quality is one of the main factors in executing education process. This value can be measured from the quality of the educators, curriculum, books, and many more. On the other hand, there is other determining factor that is equally important, which is the service of the place of education. In order to create good service, there should be a standard of service and equality of information from all the stakeholders. With the increase of the knowledge and information, the service should be faster and the decision process should be more effective. Meanwhile, not all of the knowledge and information inside an organizationis in explicit forms, and still many tacit knowledge and information. Author proposes the design model of knowledge management so that the tacit knowledges can be collected andtransform into explicit forms. The design model will use the model from Nonaka Takeuchi, in which the creation of knowledge is sourced from each individuals and then is transmitted and externalized, collected and transformed into a new knowledge.Keywords: knowledge management, knowledge management portal model, SOP
