Daftar Isi:
- Symmetrical pattern between the Asian monsoon and the Australian monsoon were identified based on zonal wind at 850 mb. Monsoon index for 60 years from 1950 to 2009 showed that the Asian monsoon index, ISMI and WNPMI, and the Australian Monsoon Index (AUSMI) have no significant variant along year. It means that the cycle of climate anomalies, such as ENSO and Dipole Mode were locked by stronger monsoon oscillation system and it showed the symmetry on the two monsoon. Humidity profile analysis is divided into 3 zones, they are affected by the South Asian monsoon, East Asia monsoon, and Australia monsoon. Asymmetrical pattern between Asian and Australian monsoon were identified by the evolution of the daily humidity where humidity changes occur suddenly in Asia (South and East Asia), while in Australia humidity changes occur gradually. This suggests that in addition there is asymmetrical pattern, there is also asymmetrical pattern between the two monsoon systems.
