- Lubuk Lampam is a floodpalin sytem that seasonally inundated in the rainy season and be come dried up at the dry season. The fishing activities at Lubuk Lampam floodplain are very intensive and comproses of various fishing gear and methods, started with small simple pot traps to Large active barrier that can catch a large amount of fish. A study to reveal the pattern of relationship of water level fluctuation to fish production dynamics and water quality was conducted from 1989 to 2003. Water quality parameters observed are water Level level fluctuation, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen and dissolved carbon dioxide. Fish production dynamics parameters observed fishing activities, fishing gears, yield. The result showed tahat the values of water quality parameters and the amount of fish production are fluctuating in accordance with water level fluctuation.
