The classification of soil characteristics in the swamp area in Banyuasin regency consists of 3 classes, which are clay type with diameter <0.002 mm, medium soil with diameter 0.002 – 0.075 mm, and slightly rough for fine sandy soil with diameter 0.075 – 0.425 mm. In addition, in the study area, the peat depth is approximately measured as 50 – 100 cm and 100 – 200cm
