- Early Postpartum Ambulation is a decision to move early after birth for postpartum women. Tendency of this research is to know factors which are related with early postpartum ambulation at the women postartum with caesarean section in rooming-in maternity and gynecology ward of Dr. Moh. Hoesin hospital Palembang . This research is descriptif which conduct correlation desain to find out correlation between predispotition factors and streightening factor with early postpartum ambulation at the women postartum with caesarean section. The Population is all of the caesarean patient, and the sample is 25 respondent which use univariate and bivariate analyze. Chi-Square statistical test were used to identify the significant correlation between independent variable and dependent variable with degree of freedom 95% (p = 0,05). The result of research is found there is significant correlation between educational level, knowledge, motivation, degree of abdominal pain and giving information by nurse with implementation early post partum ambulation. But, there is no significant correlation between, age, emotion, attitude and value with implementation early post partum ambulation. Nurse is expected increasing patient’s knowledge by giving clear information and easy to be understood about the importance of early ambulation after birth.
