- In Vitro Evaluation of Antagonistic activities of Trichoderma spp. Against Ganoderma philippii (Bres. and P. Henn) Bress. The objective of this experiment was to examine the antagonist activities of Trichoderma spp. fungus against G.philippii. The experiment was conducted at Laboratory of Phytophatology, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from March until July 2006. The result showed that TP isolate grow relatively faster on G. Philippii. Therefore this isolate was selected as a potential candidate for biocontrol of G. Philippii. The average of percentage inhibition on the growth of G. Philippii. Treated by metabolite produced by Trichoderma spp. was 73,97%. The isolates of Trichoderma spp. tested showed hyperparasit activities on miselia of G. Philippii by coiling, penetrating and inducing lysis of hypal pathogens.
