- Persepsion of society on the existence of “Hutan Marga” in research rural areas described that tha pontencial of “Hutan Marga” iv each rural area is still exist. During this time, the rural government taking over “Hutan Marga” management. The institution of “Hutan Marga” institution is consist of “Pasirah” and “Dewan Marga”, and member of society. Society member is the main pranata holding righ to manage “Hutan Marga”. It is the time for the society to be involved as a subject to build and to pioneer forest conservation program of TNKS through local institution of “Hutan Marga” as a social foresty model. The model will involves three elements, namely rural government and county government involved, such as TNKS and PPL, and society element as a core in model system will be developed.
