- The purpose of this research is to know about the influence of wage and inflation to unemployment in Province of South Sumatera. Analysis methods which used for this research are Panel Estimated and Fixed Effect. The result from this research shows that wage has positively impacted to the level unemployment, according to the estimation result it shows that increasing of wage by 1 percent will increase the level of unemployment by 5,40 percents, while inflation has a negative impact to unemployment, and the estimation shows that if inflation increase by 1 percent then the level of unemployment falls to 3,84 percents. According to estimation declared that the rate of wage has a positive impact to unemployment. Otherwise, inflation has negative impact to unemployment. Even though wage and inflation do not have a significant influence to the level of unemployment in Province of South Sumatera instead
