  • The purpose of this research is to measure the performance of public health centers ( puskesmas ) in the city of palembang in uses the balance scorecard .In this study , the researchers focused on perspective learning and growth consisting of 3 ( three ) indicators satisfaction employment levels employees , their level of understanding employees , and the motivation and empowerment employees. This research uses the quantitative descriptive by taking data in primary and secondary obtained from a list of questions ( the questionnaire ) and interview directly to sample and obtained from sumber-sumber the internet and jurnal-jurnal .A population of research is the number of employees puskesmas in the city of palembang namely 185 people , with the sample the 65. The results of research processed using spss this indicates that the average performance puskesmas in palembang good enough , indicated by the results of the analysis perspective individuals and of tools research used .Based on the outcome of this research a conclusion can be drawn that perspective balance scorecard is the method of measurement performance very good used because balance scorecard having the same which is not possessed system traditional management strategies .Traditional management strategies measures only organisational performance of financial terms just and preferred measurements on around what lasts tengible.
