  • This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of business environmental on competitive strategy and analyze the effect of competitive strategy on financial performance. A quantitative approach is applied in this study with survey method. The study was conducted in industry songket at Kelurahan 30 Ilir Palembang. The total respondent was 18 persons with convinience sampling technique. The method of analysis used inferensial technique. Research findings that internal environmental not significant to competitive strategy. External environmental has significant positive to competitive strategy while competitive strategy has significant positive to financial performance.
