Daftar Isi:
  • Hybrid power system is the integration of power system based on fossil fuel energy and renewable energy. The main purpose of the system is to save the fossil fuel and reduce the environmental effect, especially CO2 emission. The hybrid system is a multi-variable system. HOMER, a micropower optimization modeling software is used to analyze data for both wind speed and solar radiation, simulating hybrid system configurations at once and rank them according to its lowest net present cost. The configuration of the hybrid system in Sebesi island consist of a diesel generating unit , photovoltaic modules (PV) and wind turbines. The optimum hybrid system from the simulation and optimization result is consist of wind and diesel generating set. Contribution of wind turbin is 57% and the contribution of diesel generating set is 43%. The optimum hybrid system has $ 943.957 of the total NPC, COE is $ 0,492 $/kWh , fuel consumption in a yearly is 42.360 litre, CO2 emission is 112.258 kg/year or decrease 43,4% from the first condition, excess electricity is 44.984 kWh/year or 0.66%, Keywords : Hybrid system, Simulation, NPC, CO2 emission, COE
