A laboratory scale filtration equipment systems was designed. The variables studied were time, operating pressure, and ceramic membrane compositions. The result showed that 99.74% cadmium can be removed by the filtration process using ceramic membranes. Overall, the equipment designed for the processing of waste water containing cadmium may reduce TDS, EC and Turbidity up to 12.85%, 10.66%; and 94.62% respectively.
