- The objective of this research is to analyze the backward linkage and forward linkage mining sub sector of South Sumatera Economics. It's analysis this research adopt the input-output analysis method. This research analyze the data of GRDP of Sumatera Province ang The Input-Output table of South Sumatera Province in 1994 and 2006, as the result of data processing by using RAS method by classifying 24 X 24 sectors/sub sectors. Based on the researchr, shifting in the output structure of South Sumatera economic was occured during 1994 to 2006. The rate of backward linkage of mining sub sector in 2006 was 0,06221. The rate of direct forward linkage of the mining sub sector in 2006 was 0,08643.
