Teaching Science Process Skils in Blended Learning Envrionment: A Case Study at Strata-1 Elementary Teacher Education

- A case study which is to examine a program teaching science process skills in blended learning environment has been done. Blended learning is actually a combination between face to face and online learning. The blended learning envrironment in teaching science process skills program has been created and examined to 30 students of elementar teacher education at a University in South Sumatera. Method of research was used pre-experimental design (one-shot case study). Gathering data use Moodle program for onlin learning and also post and performance test for face to face learning. Content of online learning consists of video and animation, discussion and chatting, assessment and questionnaires. All students’ online actvities were recorded in Moodle. Face to face learnign provided laboratory activities during residential term. The research finding were (1) online learning program coud be used and accesed easily (81%), (2) percentage of students responded every online practicum topics (75%), (3) a few students parcipated in chatting forum (11%) rather than using online discussion forum (73%), (4) scored average of online assessment was 8,45, (5) percentage of students responded good (63%) and very good (37%) toward online learning, and (6) scored averages of post and performance test were 23 and 19.
