- Article discusses the conception of Climate Change, how to know, rurderstand and take action to mitigate the impact of climate change. Reduction of forest area that is not balanced by reforestation conducted spur climate change, because the agent to absorb CO2 more limited. One way that is being developed to overcome this problem is to study and calculate how much carbon content that can be stored by the existing green areas, to be used as reference to calculate how much land area should be green. Several studies have shown that the various ecosystems in Indonesia has a high potential as a carbon sink. To support the implementation ofthe program referred to the environmental education becomes very important, both formally and informally given to the students and the wider community.
