The interview results revealed that all the participants reported oral presentation was not something new for them; they had done it during their undergraduate studies in Indonesia. They also reported that they did some oral presentations during their English Academic Preparation (EAP) prior to their departure to Australia. In general, all the participants agreed that, as an assessment method, oral presentation not only helped assess their comprehension on the subject matter, but also improved their speaking performance as well as their self-confidence. In addition, all the participants addressed the importance of having a practice their oral presentation (e.g., in front of friend) as a strategy to overcome their nervousness. In relation to the grading criteria of an oral presentation, all the participants listed the content of the presentation as the first priority that the lecturers had to take into account when assessing students&#x2019; presentations. </description><date>2012-10-04</date><type>Journal:Proceeding</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>File:application/msword</type><identifier>http://eprints.unsri.ac.id/1657/1/VIANTY_Oral_Presentation_Through_the_Eyes_of_the_Students.docx</identifier><identifier>Vianty, Machdalena (2012) Oral Presentations: Through the Eyes of the Students.
