- The objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was a significant correlation between language anxiety and listening comprehension of the third semester students of English Education Study Program Sriwijaya University. The population of this study was all the third semester students of Sriwijaya University year of 2014/2015. The method used was the prediction design of correlational study. 47 students were chosen as the sample of this study using purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed by using corelation coeficient of pearson product moment and were calculated by SPSS Version twenty one. Based on the result of the data analysis by using pearson product moment, the value of tcount was 0.379 at the significant level 0.615 in two tailed testing, so the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the research hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It means that there was a significant correlation between language anxiety and listening comprehension of the third semester students of English Education Study Program Sriwijaya University.
