Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The principal supervisor was Werna Nontji, and the co-supervisor was Nanang Roswita Paramata. In adolescence, the curiosity about the sexuality is very important, especially in the relationship with the opposite sex. In fact, some of the teenagers do not know what and why they get the knowledge about the sex problems. Lack of knowledge and understanding about sexually transmitted diseases, including the HIV/AIDS, can lead to the adolescent sexual behavior which poorly uncontrolled. Moreover, this can caused the infection of HIV/AIDS. This research aimed to know the relationship between the knowledge about HIV/AIDS with the adolescent sexual behavior. This type of research is the analytic survey with Cross Sectional Plan. This research conducted in SMAN 1 Gorontalo, with the sample of 160 respondents from the population of 265 respondents of students. This research used Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique, and the analysis used the Chi Square Test. The result of this research showed the knowledge of the respondents with good category are 98 respondents or about 61,2%, and enough category are 62 respondents or about 38,8%. Respondents who have good behavior are 121 respondents or 75,6 % and behave less are 39 respondents or 24,4 %. This research concluded that there was a relationship between the knowledge about HIV/AIDS with the adolescent sexual behavior at students of Class XI, SMAN 1 Gorontalo. Moreover, this research consider need to increase the activities of health education to the adolescent. By increasing the enough knowledge about HIV/AIDS, so it can influence on their behavior. Pada masa remaja, rasa ingin tahu mengenai seksualitas sangat penting terutama dalam pembentukan hubungan dengan lawan jenisnya. Tetapi kenyataannnya banyak remaja justru tidak mengetahui apa dan bagaimana cara mereka mendapatkan pengetahuan tentang masalah seks. Keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang penyakit menular seksual termasuk HIV/AIDS dapat mengakibatkan perilaku seksual remaja yang semakin kurang terkontrol. Perilaku seksual remaja yang kurang terkontrol bisa menyebabkan infeksi HIV/AIDS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS dengan perilaku seksual remaja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Gorontalo. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 160 responden dari jumlah populasi 265 orang. Teknk sampling yaitu Proportionate stratified random sampling. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan responden yang berpengetahuan baik yaitu 98 responden (61,2%) dan berpengetahuan cukup yaitu 62 responden (38,8%). Responden yang berperilaku baik yaitu 121 responden (75,6) dan berperilaku kurang yaitu 39 responden (24,4%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS dengan Perilaku Seksual siswa kelas XI di SMA N 1 Gorontalo. Perlu adanya peningkatan kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan kepada remaja untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja, dengan pengetahuan yang memadai tersebut diharapkan dapat berpengaruh terhadap perilakunya.
