- The pupose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of teaching chemistry with the macroscopic-microscopic approach based macromedia in improving student learning outcomes on the concept of chemical equilibrium shift. This is an experiment. The study design using of experiments. Study experimental design used was quasi-esperimental design. This study population is senior high school students in grade IIIin Gorontalo School year 2006/2007. The samples were SMA 2, SMA 3, and SMA 4 Gorontalo. From each of the schools taken two parallel classes that have relatively equal ability, one as a class as an experiment and acontrol class.
