This is research executing in Laboratory Physics Gorontalo State University From April - July 2012. The object research is Fused Quartz thickly 1 mm and polymer which deposition above Fused Quartz with variation thickly. The Target of this research that is to know refractive index of Flimsy coat polymer of Poly(N-vinylcarbazole), and to know influence thickness of material to refractive index. Refractive index every obtained PVK sample by using Interferometer Michelson that is 1.687, 1.683, and 1.675. While For the refractive index of Polymer of PVK by using Prism Coupling obtained 1.6720, 1.6710, 1.6709. The measurement by using Prism Coupling known that thick dont have influencing with refractive index. While the measurement by using Interferometer Michelson known that happened degradation of refractive index along increasing thick of polymer.
