- Natural disaster have been become a srious threat for human living for many centuries. Merapi eruption in 2010 destroyed 3.083 houses in Sleman Regency. After passed through emergency phase. Government of Indonesia conducted resettlement reconstrution program for 2.083 houses in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. This study aims to evaluate the settlement reconstruction program after Merapi 2010 eruption in Cangkringan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. In this researcher tries to describe in depth and evaluate the implementation of community-based settlement reconstruction was. This research also evaluates impacts of community-based settlement reconstruction. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative approach. This research aims to evaluate the program of community-based settlement reconstruction, and give suggestion for the program itself.
