- The present study obtains a systematic set of primary quantitative data through quistionnaire. The questionnaire survey results find out most of the citizens of Hatyai City think that the availability of green areas in Hatyai City is not enough. The citizen who think that the availability of green areas in Hatyai City is not enough would ever participate in planning for green areas in Hatyai City. Henceforth, participatory planning of green area may be proper for Hatyai City Municipality. It involves a participation in the act/process of making plans.
