- One effort to overcome dental health problems in school-aged children is through the effort of school dental health (UKGS). To find out the success of the program or the extent to which the UKGS program is implemented, one way to assess it is by conducting a survey. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of UKGS program on caries number in SD Negeri Jabungan Semarang. This research uses descriptive quantitative method with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study amounted to 166 samples consisting of 14 teachers, 2 health workers and 150 students, taken in total sampling. The variables examined in this study are the UKGS (method) method for caries numbers. Data analysis is carried out quantitatively and displayed in table form. The results of the research that have been carried out show that most respondents suffer from primary dental caries (def-t) with a very low category of 49 respondents (33%) and the majority of respondents suffer from permanent dental caries (DMF-T) with a moderate category of 55 respondents ( 37%). Most teachers think that training activities for UKS teachers and small doctors about dental and oral health knowledge, emergency treatment to relieve dental pain in students have been done by teachers and teachers to make referrals for students who need care, while health workers are responsible related to the UKGS program at SD Negeri Jabungan Semarang, it was argued that they had carried out all UKGS related activities. So that the results of the study can be concluded that the UKGS program has run well, but because of the low awareness of students and inadequate infrastructure in the implementation of UKGS, thus affecting the health conditions of students' mouths and teeth, in this case students still suffer from damage to primary and permanent teeth. It is recommended for teachers and health workers to further strive for UKGS activities to be structured and sustainable.
