- Masyarakat Tobati memiliki kekayaan sastra lisan. Sebagian besar sastra lisan Tobati masih tersebar secara lisan walaupun sudah ada beberapa cerita yang telah dibukukan.Di samping sebagai upaya pendokumentasian sastra lisan, penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang morfologi sastra lisan Tobati berdasarkan teori Vladimir Propp. Dari hasil analisis dongeng yang berjudul Tant Ridah diketahui bahwa terdapat tujuh belas fungsi pelaku dan lima lingkaran tindakan dalam cerita rakyat tersebut. Adapun nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerita tersebut adalah perlunya menjaga sikap amanah terhadap tugas yang dibebankan kepada kita dan keyakinan bahwa dibalik kesulitan selalu ada kemudahan. Fungsi-fungsi yang ada di dalam cerita merupakan refleksi kompleksitas berfikir masyarakat.Abstract:The people of Tobati has varieties of folktales. Most of the folktales in Tobati has been spread orally even though some of them have been documented in written record. Besides as an effort to document folktale, the aim of the research tries to describe the morphology of the folktale based on Vladimir Propp’s structure. From the analysis, it is known that Tobati’s “Tant Ridah” consists of seventeen functions and five spheres of action in it. The moral value of the folktale is that we should obey every task given to us. In addition, we should believe that there are always some positive things in every single problem that comes to us. The functions stated in the story are as reflections of thinking complexity of such community.
