  • This research is on Studentsâ�� Satisfaction When Using Social Media Master, that aims to determine the difference between the Gratification-Sought ( satisfaction is sought ) and Gratification-Obtained ( satisfaction derived ) amongst students based on: a). their motives in using the social media, b). their satisfaction in seeking the information, c). their Personal Identity sought satisfaction with Personal Identification satisfaction obtained, d). their satisfaction Integration and social interaction, e). their satisfaction for entertainment when using the social Media. This researchâ��s Methodology ( approach ) is quantitative , whereas the method used is a survey method with a comparative analysis . In preparing this study, the researchers used data collection techniques as the following: questionnaire, and literature. The data used in this study was obtained through a questionnaire where distributed to the respondents / sample. The scale of measurement defined in this study is the Likert Scale.The results describe thatthere is a differencebetweensatisfactionsought andobtainedstudentsatisfactionin usingsocialmedia and then the results thatstudentsare satisfiedwiththe existence ofsocial mediaas a me dium ofinformationfulfillment , personalidentity , integrityandsocialinteractionandentertainment , according tocriteriabased onthe theory ofvalue expectations,whereif thesatisfactionobtainedwith thesamelookof satisfactionindicatethat themediawere considered t o havemeet theneeds of its users
